As the current releases of DBI are in Russian (I respect the authors decision in this) I tried to translate the, for me, most used menus in English
I combined several OCR, translate websites and the DBI 6.58 (last) English menu so here is my attempt in translation:

Out of curiosity, are there any notable bugfixes when compared to the last English version? The only one that stood out to me was the one regarding save backups (scary to think my JKSV backups may not be 100% reliable).

Yes, some newer game no longer crash when you try to select it. Game save is working for some game that JKSV fail to work (no error warning, just don't work when a restore is done). To people who like to just back it up some of your backup with JKSV may not work (not sure since when, maybe something to do with HOS update, so games that requires newer HOS may be the ones)

Spite would be crashing your console, this is only a small protest, I think it is best to just be thankful for what you get and accept the inconvenience.

Well he knows that if he crashed or harmed peoples consoles on purpose that people would start to not trust him lol I highly doubt that would happen, but since its closed sourced and is Russian software. I will refrain from using it.

Taking comfort in security for home brew because it is open source is misguided if you depend on others to check it. Very few people are likely to examine the source code for security flaws even for popular home brew. Plus you also have to trust these people.

In theory I have no problem using a foreign language application but damn it's so hard to use anything apart from basic features since DBI is so text heavy and there are no visual prompts that you'd get from something that relies more on a GUI.

No, this was already answered and it's intentionally blocked. Also the developer did say that other language versions are still compiled, they just aren't released.

Anyway it's better that this thread remains a resource rather than another begging thead.

For the time being we'll just have to compare screenshots of older builds in both languages and rely on machine translations for any new text. Hopefully Duckbill will change his mind in the future or another Russian speaking member here could provide and maintain an up to date translation guide.

from here, since there is a user that kindly goes fishing for the russian-only version on some russian board and exposes it to the rest of the world available to download on gbatemp. Yet, the dev of DBI is here and replies in english. Go figure.
