Got one of those cheap HY300 Chinese gimbal Android 11 projectors.
I am a vine member and it was only $20ETV
So like less than $7 in income tax.

It's pretty amazing for the price, seen these on temu and AliExpress for like $25 the lowest.
But I never knew about them till I got it from vine.
I guess they are pretty viral on tik Tok but I don't use it.

It's really light and portable and you can just easily throw it in a bag ( no lens cap included though but I did find a few STL files to print one which I am going to do) and it's a short throw projector so you can get a really big screen with hardly any throw distance.

Can't get screen mirror to work, my phone is a pixel 7 pro so it won't cast to it and I tried my fire max 11 tablet and I can hear audio but I just get a black screen.

I installed some apk's like fl1xv!$10n
And it works great.
So does YT and NF that came preinstalled
I been having some trouble getting N64 emulation working smoothly.

I got my Xbox one controller paired to it and I can get N64 games to run but the audio and frame rate are choppy.

I tried to install mupen64 FZ and AE but neither of them will see any ROMs due to shitdroid scoped storage restrictions.

I tried to install a bunch of different file browsers and Open ROMs from a file browser but I can't pick mupen64 as the app to open them with.
I tried retroarch and retroarch plus but whenever I change my video driver to vulkan It just goes to a black screen when I save changes and quit and relaunch it.

I saw a post on Reddit r/emulation on Android where someone said they had it working but the thread is locked and they didn't post any details like which emulator, core, driver, settings, or anything.

It seems like it would work great If I could get vulkan drivers to work.

Chipset is all winner H713 with 1gig of RAM

Anyone here have any suggestions on getting vulkan to work or does anyone else here have one of these things?

Would never recommend getting a refurb drive for any important data...

But $99 for 14TB was too good to pass up. My video NAS only has 8TB and I've been out of space for months, even after cleaning things up a few times. Figure might as well throw this in there and just keep the 8TB for important backups. Comes with a 5 year warranty so even if it does fail anytime soon I can at least get a replacement from GoHardDrive, so meh

It's raining this morning but it didn't stop me from going to check some good deals this Friday

I took a risk to buy the mouse since my wired Corsair is about to kick in. So far I'm using it and no problems, and downloaded the software to check the mouse options. The Digimon X is $7 behind counter and I have never tried playing with a Digivice (and my inner kid is very happy). Will try tomorrow, as I feel tired right now.

In the wave of new Puzzles today I got this one:

It's a Solitaire where you start with some pieces on a half chess board, and making capturing only moves you should end with a only piece, the book have a magnetic lid with the board at both sides so is a «travel» version. The book have 120 setup from beginner to expert.

Even did catch the eye of my mother.

I needed some new thermal paste, so I ordered some Noctua NT-H2. From what I've read and seen, it's a really good thermal paste that isn't that expensive. Plus, it's definitely better than the Corsair TM30 I've been using.

I also ordered some AM5 silicone gaskets so that the paste won't spill over. Do I need them? No. But did I want them? Yes.

Going to be getting the rest of my parts for my current build and going to re-paste my main PC this weekend.

Went out and got the rest of my pc parts (minus the gpu). I got a Ryzen 5 7600 non x, a GIGABYTE B650M GAMING PLUS WIFI Motherboard and a kit of T-Force 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM.

Got home and was about to build it and realized I lost the screws that came with my case so I had to order some to come tomorrow or else the motherboard is free floating in the case.

Got some more stuff. Tiny bluetooth / USB dongle keyboard + touchpad combo for my TV, docked Steam Deck, and Anal Pocket when docked. A Verbatim Blue-Ray drive that can rip BD without custom firmware, a USB-C hub for the tablet so I'm not stuck with just 1 USB port when charging the thing, and 200w output Anker powerbank so I can keep my crap powered up while outside.
Not pictured some more diverse USB-C cables for higher transfer rates and a bit longer so that nothing has to put weight on the upper USB-C port on the tablet, I'd like that port to stay intact for as long as possible.

Which leads me to outside, I got some furniture for my balcony so I can have my office space outside when the weather is nice.

Needs some more cleaning (I already did more since the pic was taken), but the rest is going to require a proper power washer because good lord the sun baked that crap on tight.

And then I also got a formal ADHD diagnosis so now I'm on heavily regulated drugs medication. I'm only on the lowest dosage yet, but this is apparently already pretty close to how normies feel?
It's fascinating how little effort it takes now to just fucking stay on track, and not feel absolutely wound up like a spring every waking minute like I have for the past 30+ years.
