Surprised it's in very good condition after all these years, but is it still usable as a cellphone? Or.. just for display?

No slipcover? Looks kinda cheap as it is.
Cant really tell, havent used with a simcard, but it have a battery and turn on so i guess it works as a phone

It would use 2 or 3g so I doubt it would still work.
Some countries still use 2G and 3G, but it's getting discontinued. 4G is overall the best goto option.

I had this Nokia (110 4G) for 2 years which was great, that's until I dropped it in a mug with tea so the audio went quiet and I just bought an Android instead.

Using an Android even just for phone/text is more useful these days as it can take photos in HD and that comes handy (QR code pickups, etc).

Reminds me of an old VHS case. Honestly given it costs £35 it does the job. It's 83 hours of YuGiOh lol
Does this include Season 0?

My shed is finished, i set up the desk and airbrush station. (I have used it a couple of times to test it.) I ordered some wire shelves to store my model kits that I need to build. I also ordered a better air compressor that will give me better PSI control and an airbrush holder.
I have some more Gunpla pre-orders coming in tomorrow, along with some more paints that I ordered.

Also going to see Deadpool and Wolverine with some friends tomorrow.

It's been such a long time since I had seen and used one of these. Great controller all in all.

Found a prob with it 😅 the battery's dead (it won't charge at all). I'll have to order a new one from AliExpress.

Picked up a reproduction of a vintage poster from the Montreal winter olympics. I fucking love the art on old posters, it's so fucking good.

I went to the retail outlet today and picked up some converses, jeans (not pictured because no one cares) and a soundbar. I have basic bitch 4K tv so didn't want to spend much, I just want louder audio.

It looks good but eh it's a repro so you'd really have to appreciate it for what it is. Sorta like old game repro boxes.

Doing a bit of a clear out and found this bit of history sat in the back of a drawer..

It's a Maximus 360 Lizard & Scorpion 2. From back in the good old days when we had to probe DVD drives to get keys to hack our 360s firmware.

Since I'm supposed to be clearing things out this puppy is probably going to end up at the recycling centre :-(
got one of those in my loft, aswell as a load of other useless garbage.

My wire shelves came today and I need to buy another. I didn't realize I have 77(if I counted correctly) Gundam kits, 1 30 minute missions kit, 1 digimon, 1 pokemon, 3 optional/accessories kits and 13 vehicles.

I can finally start doing them all. I probably have enough kits to last me 2 or 3 years if I customize and paint all of them.

Intel claim this issue can be sorted with a microcode update now. https://www.anandtech.com/show/2148...bility-faults-voltage-microcode-fix-in-august

But Intel also claimed it was all the motherboard manufacturers at fault months ago and bios updates were eventually released, https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-com...t-about-cpu-crashes-blames-motherboard-makers

and yet here we are with it's now a "microcode issue" instead, so who knows if it will sort it and if it does, if there will be any performance impact to boost clocks.
Hopefully now we don't get defective processors (for now). But nonetheless, Intel laid off 15,000 employees, so it seems like a bad year for tech companies.

Got a slew of stuff. First photo are the contents of one of those $71 mystery boxes 8BitDo was selling a bit back. The big Ultimate controller was one I actually wanted, and allowed me to gift my old Switch style Ultimate to my mom. The white one I use for my tablet and Steam Deck.

Also got Paprika on UMD because it's a weird movie that deserves to be owned on weird media.

Also got myself a spot welder, welding goggles, and liquid electrical tape so I could make myself a god damn bios battery for my ThinkPad X1 Tablet as literally nobody is making those in CR1620 sizes, and Lenovo is only selling old stock that's dead already.
Similarly I got the Tablet a WD SN770 500gb, an Anker Prime GaN 100w charger, two USB-C to C cables to connect shit to it, and a Sabrent SSD enclosure so I can reuse the small Intel SSD this thing shipped with.

Then I finally installed some awnings to help fight the sun, and can probably actually consider getting some furniture for my balcony now that I can actually use it and get some shade. Will be fun cleaning it and removing some of the trash my upstairs neighbors added to it.

And last but not least, some music.

And then my wife's 2019 Macbook Pro died, so bought her a 2018 Macbook Pro as a replacement cuz it was cheap and had slightly better specs  A2159 (old) vs A1990 (new). Only paid $200, which is insanely cheap for this model. Needs a battery replacement, but that's easy and cheap enough so $250 all in for a decent Macbook with dGPU is not bad.

Recently my gf got for me an original and unmodded Wii of EU region (not many dirty in some places and ejecting problems) with all items and box
She will send me it soon
Planning on modding it yet? I would check if the disc drive is functional first, and whether the Eject button works at all.
