You may have heard about the one I am planning on creating for the Monster Hunter Stories HD version, it's just on the back burner while I create cheat codes for a few more weeks. It'll work for the Switch version only, as there is already an editor for the Steam version in the works by someone else.

If the idea of bashing monsters' skulls in over and over and over and over again to get materials to create weapons that can bash bigger, badder monters' skulls in over and over and over and over again ad nauseam appeals to you, do pick the series up. I highly recommend starting with Monster Hunter 3 (Tri) on Wii if at all possible; it's release helped put the series on the American map, and eventually the global one, and is very generous to beginners.
