Homebrew Recovering data from dead 3DS SD card?

Hey, a long long time ago, my old 3DS died and I wound up buying a new New 3DS XL later. I've only just now installed cfw on my n3DS, and I was hoping there was some way to recover the data from my original 3DS's SD card. The thing won't boot so I can't do anything with it. Is it possible to get the save data from that one and decrypt it without access to the actual 3DS it came from?

Afaik, you'd need the movable.sed . If you don't have it and the system won't turn on, I think you're sol.
