Super Smash bros. Universe without a disc

Hey guys, I recently heard about a newer ssbb mod called super smash bros universe.
I don't have a physical copy of the game so I was wondering if it is even possible *without* a disc.
If it is, how do you install it?

You would probably have to download a ssbb iso and find an injection where it injects the files (of the mod) into the original iso. Right now, I can't find one, but I'm sure in the near future someone will make one.

(1) Check if your version of Brawl is NTSC-U and 7.92 GB.

(2) Extract Smash Universe to SD card.

(3) Copy RSBE01.gct from Smash Universe to "codes" folder(s) on SD card:

SD:\codes​

SD:\wiiflow\codes\gct​

SD:\usb-loader\codes​

(4) Set Loader Ocarina to ON.

(5) Set HookType to AXnextFrame or VBI.

Because of the size of the mod, there will be a black loading screen for about 2 minutes before the opening movie and the character select screen will be laggy.

Or, try older Brawl mods by using BrawlBuilder to create a modded Brawl ISO with Project M: Patt or Fully Dressed editions.

Are you absolutely sure this method works? The reason I ask is because I have been trying to get this to work all day using basically this method, but no matter what I do, it always launches up vanilla brawl. But if you are certain this does in fact work, I'm going to keep on trying. Otherwise I'm just gonna repair my disc drive as that seems easier at this point.

In USB Loader GX, try changing Brawl's "Game IOS" to 249 and click "Save ."

I can confirm @manymods method works, I did the exact same thing a couple of weeks ago with both Universe and Infinite. ISO file on usb hdd, .gct file in sd card codes folder. I couldn’t get it working on wiiflow lite, so just moved to USBLGX and all works well.

I dont use usb loader GX, I have no luck trying to play games on that platform
Try a new SD card (FAT32 format), USB loader and/or Brawl mod.

PMEX: REMIX 0.95.5b comes with its own USB loader app.

In Homebrew Channel, click on REMIX USB Loader.

Select Brawl's location (USB Mass Storage or SD Card) with D-pad and press A.

Scroll to Brawl (RSBE) with D-pad and press A.

Click on Options.

Try IOS set to 245, 249 or 250 with hooktype set to AXnextFrame, VBI, GxDraw or Wii Pad Hook.

Set Ocarina to ON.

Save settings by clicking SAVE.

I've followed these instructions but it says no cheat file found

Try another Brawl that's NTSC-U and 7.92 GB.

I tried to play Super smash Bros universe on my Wii but every time I try to boot it, it takes me to the Wii menu I have the EU version of the game physically and a backup of the US version. It won't take neither of those for the mod. I use USB loader GX.

the backup version is wbfs

I did Priiloader to unlock the regional setting. I did the cIOS thing. but didn't help

There's one more thing, You need to move the config folder to the root of the SD card with mods like infinite and Universe
