So as a small few of you may know, I'm a Mars Volta fanatic.
I'm particularly saddened by the way record companies treat this band.
Just because they are prog, and appeal to a different audience, they get less promotion than most other rock acts.
Their last records promotion was a big embarrassment, no thanks to Warner Bros.
This year, they were SUPPOSED to release a new, apparently VERY GOOD album.
Sadly, Warner decided to take a dump on them and delay it to 2012.
Under the moniker that the commercial conditions for selling it are not right this year
.....
How does that even work?! The most typical listener and fan are DIE-HARD for them. Any instance of their material, or anything related, will be scoped out and bought and promoted to death by the fans already! What makes this such a hard thing for Warner to do!?
tl;dr
I MAD.
Toodles,
Ace Faith~
