First off I'm a bit obsessed with tetris. One of those classic games that just works well. And this was the game that got me hooked As far as emulation goes in lameboy .90 I find no real problems to complain about. As far as problems with the game however there is one big one, controls. This version of tetris has horrible controls compared with is successors. Around level 10 it becomes extremely difficult to play because of how much rapid button pushing (it still takes about a second to get it from one end of the well to the other even when rapidly mashing the button over and over again) is needed to continue to move a piece and unlike some other versions of the game, once it hits the ground the piece freezes, no more moving. Like most other tetris games you get 3 different choices of music, type A in 1.1 (it is not the same as type a found in 1.0) for whatever reason became the most popular and ultimately associated song with Tetris. Personally I think it's ok and listen able to, but I prefer the Nintendo licensed NES Type A music better. The highscore table in my opinion is pointless seeing as how the game doesn't have a save feature so when it's over it's gone.
Lastly I know its an older game and appreciate that (I even find myself playing it from time to time) but there are alot of better tetris games that I will also be discussing later.
