So, Im a frequent customer of the newly built Nokia Care from my city and I always come back. My last visit was my Nokia E90 having a cracked inner LCD. That didnt went well.
So I came back with my Nokia N97 and it has a scratch on the lense and I was hoping i can have it replaced.
The guy said they dont have a spare B-cover to replace so I went to my mom and tell her that we will have to come back next month.
at around that time, my Nokia N97 slipped from my hand and into the tiles below me.
I looked at the faces of the personels (a guy and a lady) and they were like "WTF is he doing?"
I dropped my phone accidentally but it was in its fitting N-Series case. It didnt hve any damages at all as it was securely inside the case but you know Filipinos and the warranty. If it's outside the warranty, they will not fix it.
Im planning to have it repaired in Manila but I dont know if the personel I talked to awhile ago memorized the details of my receipt while I showed it infront of him.
We asked if it's affected and the guy said "it isnt it" but I was curious if they will have a meeting about my phone and if they will charge me for voiding my warranty.
I read the manual after I left and the warranty didnt include "....being dropped" but in my case, I need to have the lens replaced.
Should I worry about the following:
1) If I return next month, will they charge me for voiding my warranty
2) They will do somthing about my warranty details and tell the whole philippines that my warranty is void (if they memorized my details [the receipt has the date I bought it, they can easily trace my IMEI])
