Second thoughts :<

Hola, Kiddies

Well... i kinda said something in my other blog.
Something about writing some sorta guide?
About jailbreaking i suppose.

Well... i gave it a second thought. and i spoke with some mods.
He said that i can go ahead and upload/link to all i need.
But THEN! he said. if anybody ruins their device it's your job to fix it.
I don't want to risk anything on my rep.
I don't want t be the cause of people not following.
Or i making a mistake.
So.... i will just help out in threads where people need help.

But. i will also be maintaining the FileTrip iPod section. not really offical. but i will keep it up to date on the iPod stuffs.
I'm going to upload the sn0wbreeze betas, stable releases, redsn0w, everything.
Not really an offical job. i just thought i should.

I think i'm going to suggest an iDevice forum. along with all smartphones.
Since we need one.
The iDevices are becoming nice gaming platforms.

Also. Danny will be updating his guide. so i am thinking of just helping him out.

I'm re-building myself from the bottom up :yayps3:

So, Forum. What do you think about having an iDevice section?

Peace

So...long story short...you're being lazy? Oh well...the jailbreaking guide scene is over saturated as is

I think GBATemp needs to cover all the smartphones in a section, and make a section for Music players. This way the Temp can encompass all the smart phones and music players without making any specific sections.

If you're responsible for fixing broken iDevices, then why are the people writing guides for Wii hacking not responsible for bricks?

Cuz what a mod says is persecutable by law...

Because they don't give a fuck? I don't want to know that i did it. but whatever.

Umm, people are relentless sometimes?

Just throw a disclaimer in big bold different colored letters. That should get enough attention... even for color blind people.

Danny6000----- needs some competition, he just screams it.

If i write one. it will be a long time though writing and making is not confusing to understnad

Umm hacking iDevices is not the same as the Wii. I know if I followed directions, nothing could go wrong. If you include a lot of screen caps, with clear and concise, spell checked, and proof read words on how you produced the screens... you should be fine. If people are honestly stupid enough not to follow clear directions, it's their own fucking fault for being impatient.

EDIT: Hey iFish, get someone (or many someones) on the Temp to proof read it, and double check directions for you. I am sure you have many people that would do it.

Not needed. There's nothing really that warrants one right now.

Yes. Lazy infers to people that don't do anything because of lack of drive, or distractions.
Cautious infers that you tread lightly, and after taking a step back and look at something you realize you have to be careful.

With the growing popularity of these things, I would say that is warrant enough.

Good luck with that, you can make it as plain and simple as you can, some moron will still do exactly what it says not to do. Wii, practically every guide will say not to delete ios files, people still do. 360, don't flash unless you're sure your key is good, people still do, jtaging them, don't do it unless you have two matching dumps, people go ahead without it.

You write a guide, you have to accept that morons will be morons and no matter how clear it is, they will screw up.

That is excatly why i'm not writing one. and iOS 4.1 is coming out.

If something happens. i dpm't wanna get flamed, trolled. i also just don't wanna deal with it.

Also. If a devices fucks over. it will be my job to fix it. i don't want that responsibility.

You see how some people who make guide call the readers dumb? i don't wanna be like that.

But we will see

Just leave him be.

He wanted to write a guide, knew what he was getting into, but backed out.
That's his prerogative, don't complain and bitch at him for looking out for himself.

He doesn't want other peoples' mistakes blamed on him.
End of story.

Leave him alone.
