I was wondering a few things for the PS3 scene because me and my brother are interested in getting the 3D tv bundle for 300 bucks.
Anyhow I was originally interested in the 3ds but my bro said why not get something for the whole family. So with our saved up money we got a new Sony 40" TV. It was worth it honestly it was bundled with the tv media player and a hdmi cable however it's the EX model. We looked at another place this week and they had the BX model for literally the same price so we got a great deal in my opinion. I know a bit off topic but Sony makes great hdtvs let me tell you.
Anyways back to the PS3. I know the bundle will include a latest firmware perhaps that might be unable to hack or not.
We don't have that kind of power to spend on expensive jailbreakmes...
I'm asking is there an alternative solution? I know I heard u can jailbreak ps3s with iPods but that might be discontinued for all I know.
My simple question and objective is to hack the ps3 so I can play burned games and without having to buy something to hack it.

If anybody asks why were getting this bundle let me just say this. I know ps3 and xbox has exclusives but it all goes down to the bundle for one. We could use a tv it comes with because the tv we got is for the living room so I can't watch what I want on it as much as I want to. Also plain and simple the ps3 offers free online while xbox has online which u pay for.
