PI DAY

I started school today. It was okay, a lot of unknown faces since it's my first year there.

I only had one full subject, physics. In which we did nothing.
The teacher spent half of the class making jokes nobody laughed at, poor guy.

The geometry teacher didn't go and the biology teacher arrived late...and I arrived later. I was checking on some friends of a friend to go in the classroom, so as they didn't go, I thought she wouldn't come. With about 15 minutes left for the lesson to end, we entered the classroom.

Next time, I'll check myself. Being late when you already were in the school is pretty awkward, specially on the first day.


In three hours I have guitar lessons. I guess I'm going to practice a bit now.

ahh, school is just about to end here. most colleges acutally have no classes already, my school still have two to three weeks.

also i learned something from you guys tonight. the Pi Day.

I don't like the month then day date system It's 14/03/11 today :teach:

I metioned it to one of the maths teachers today (don't actually have a teacher anymore, don't ask) he just looked at me funny and then continued to try to teach trig to retards. He failed. Again.

Also a :hrth: is needed here me thinks.

My maths department held a challenge for whoever could learn the most digits of Pi. I learnt 82 but i didn't get through. The final was today and the winner was predicted to get about 300, don't know about actual figure but last year she 238 and her brother got 250! :wacko: :O

There were a few Pi contests at my school on Pi day last year. Like a Pi(e) eating contest, and a Pi digit memorization contest (both with prizes!) and they were organized by the math teachers at my school.
But this year, it didn't seem like anybody gave a fuck.
