...and by "here", I mean in the relatively super-urban area where the community college that I go to is. You literally can't go anywhere without a car. And, don't misunderstand me, I don't have anything against cars, but I really don't like hot, auto-exhaust areas with a lot of traffic because it makes my skin break out into itchy hives if I'm around it too much. So, classes started Monday, I'm taking classes Monday to Thursday, 2, 200-ish level Psychology courses that may as well be 300 equivalents according to my professors. I'm also taking Music theory (lots of musical stuff that I need to re-learn and further develop).
Classes haven't been terrible, I'm pretty satisfied with my teachers and the courses, but they haven't really started, this week felt pretty useless. It's been a generic "Syallabi" week where the professors just explain their expectations, do ice-breakers and let you out 20-30 minutes early. It makes you wonder why you even bothered showing up. I've got my first real "Criminal Psychology" class and Introduction to Information Technology class in the morning, well, more mid-afternoon. Classes don't start till 11:00am, which is why I'm up fairly "late" it's almost midnight, but I'm sure I'll make do on 6-8 hours of sleep.
I've been watching season three of the Scifi show Eureka, this season (it's the past season) is actually quite interesting. I haven't had a lot of time to play many games, really just sorting out my library of games... I moved my 2GB card from my AceKard2i to my HTC Droid Eris smart-phone, which, for all it's unique features and apps I find a bit annoying. I rooted it recently, and though I have SU privileges I've yet to look into how I can turn off all the processes that turn on w/o warning. For example, whenever I turn on the phone almost half a dozen programs/widgets start running without my consent and I have to kill them with advanced task manager.
I've pretty much decided that I'm going to major in Psychology now perhaps a minor in Music or IT, this semester looks like it will be fairly interesting. Extremely uneventful, but interesting...Here's to hoping I manage to find something worthwhile to do with my Friday-Sunday's! Otherwise I'll probably spend it watching more videos and playing more games, though I do tend to talk to people a fair amount. Still, though, being around so many people in a community college setting can be a bit rough for me, I can't filter out so many conversations while I'm walking around campus and besides annoying me it tends to give me headaches =/.
Hope you all are doing well!

...Oh, and I really dislike it when a friend pokes there way back into your life when they've been clearly absent whether they're busy or not...especially when you don't particularly get along great anymore, happened tonight.. Indeed, we're both going to be busy so hopefully I won't have to deal with him all that much. He's fairly narrow-minded, but we got back a long ways.
Putting together a list of colleges to look into and visit for the Spring, I'll have 34 credits by then, so transfers seem more optimistic to me now. It's been over a year since I left my previous college, and I abhor not being able to hang out with people/friends in dorms, and really... Just be in a college town where you don't *need* a car to get around so much. America's public transportation system is terrible, though, I suppose that's b/c our country is so large...
At this point, I'm just glad I'll be done by 2PM tomorrow. Glad GBATemp offers blogspaces, really useful!
