My NDS Phat's hinge broke.

Well first off my bro decides he wants my ds lite so he just takes it and I'm stuck with my old phat nds.

Earlier today I went to my room to play some FFIV, but when I opened it up, I heared a crack and half of the hinge falls off.
It still works but I'm afraid of snapping the top part off whenever I open it up.

yeah, the same thing happened to me
tbh, you can still play with the hinge broken like that
its only something to worry about with the lite
