Honestly I went through today and I finally fully realized how much life is surrounded in technology. I mean I noticed it for quite some time but here is what I mean. I remember when I was young and my family didn't know anything at all about computers or games or anything. As time passed though I noticed how much we were wrapping ourselves in it. My mom who hasn't learned a thing about iPods is now all about iPods. I set up a tv out for her in which she can watch turkish television at home because we are all from Turkey and my mom and dad along with me and my brother deeply enjoy some turkish films along with turkish news. It seems little but to them it means a lot. Anyway at first nobody except me knew a thing on how to operate this or that but now we have 2 iPods and 1 iPhone along with a HD Sony EX40 LCD. The tv is remarkable it is our first HD tv ever. Until now we were using a small old Sony tv that was 19" perhaps but trust me when I tell you that old tv projected picture quality. That isn't important but I look around and I am surrounded in this and that and I hate myself for it but I have come to a point where I can't seperate myself from it.
So today all I can say is now my mom knows all about iPods and she even started playing games on it and etc. I am just a whole other level. I know somebody might ask whats the point of me blogging this but I just wanted to throw it out there.
As a food for thought. I am sure some are worse off than I am or less but at the end of the day I realized this.
Anyways I can't say I am all about tech though. If I had the money sure but we have everything from the sweat off our backs. Me and my brother did a painting job and from the profit we bought the Sony tv. We also bought a Sony VAIO last year because it was needed and we had saved up money. We have 2 iPods because one was given as a gift which is now used as tv out for the tv since we can't afford cable and its for my parents. As the other is used for basically anything I suppose. We also bought the phone when we were doing some business in buying and selling phones and was able to get one off the profits we made. Too personal but if anybody cares I am just saying what I got and explaining how we got them. Feel free to share your tech.
As for games I can't afford anything so I have a PSP which was given as a gift by a close friend of mine. I had 2 but one broke down and bricked unfortunately and I didn't realize I could fix it until 3 months later after I scrap it... <_< Had a XL which I sold to upgrade but the family needed my saved up money.
I enjoy blogging more than posting now so like I said in my previous blog I will mostly be doing this in and out occasionally. I hope to enjoy your stories. I am sure some people are like me saying how did I get from here to there so fast in such a short time. I remember like it was yesterday that I didn't even know what a iPod was... lol.
