Ok, so a few weeks ago I started getting emails from this lady in Hungary named "Helen" the lady said she had gotten some email from a dating site and had decided to contact me..Well I was really confused because I didn't remember joining any specific dating site in recent memory. Anyway the letters go back and forth and she tells me about her life in Hungary and stuff..generally being a sweetheart(despite her terrible english..the emails are hard to understand) she also sent pics....the lady is a hotty...but knowing that this is the internet and it could very well be a giant trap. I implored the help of several friends to take a look at the pictures and determine if a trap was waiting behind the foreign beauty...after much sleuthing and wracking my brain..a faint memory came to mind.
Several years ago my college room mate and I had a conversation about mail order brides..and as a joke I signed up on one of those sites to see what they were all about..we got a huuggee laugh out of it because it was mostly older women and it was just hilarious to think that someone would go through all that trouble to bring someone ever to the U.S. just to BS and what not.
With that memory in mind..it all came together..the woman that has been emailing me must have seen the profile I had set up all those years ago and is now contacting me in hopes of forming a relationship...
thinking back to that day and how much laughter I had while setting up my fake profile as "Mr Big" I now realize I was laughing at myself 3 years into the future...
I literally trolled myself.
