In the opening scene, a teacher calls a parent via hologram, to inform her of her misbehaving son. Meanwhile in the next room, the son messes with the hologram, making the teachers body a gorilla.
The main characters visit a damaged/abandoned space ship, and encounter spider-like alien creatures with sideways mouths. (They have four legs maybe)
The main characters include a husband, wife, son, daughter?, and other man. (Main antagonist)
Wait I just remembered, there was definitely a daughter. She was older than the son. She found a monkey-thing at one point.
At the end of the movie, it is revealed that the other man was bitten by the spiders and developed a sideways mouth.
