Bento 1: Ugly-Duckling Sandwich Fixings
My dad does not do cute or whimsical, so anything cute is ruled out. This is sandwich fixings for my dad - whole grain bread (2 slices), cucumber slices (thin sliced), seedless table grapes, and black forest ham.
Ignore the sandwich bags. My dad does not like taking reusable containers - so these can be thrown out as he eats them. Don't ask me why my dad still takes a container that he has to bring back home, but whatever...

Bento 2: Better Presentation
Sandwich = black forest ham, fresh pureed apricot chutney, whole grain bread, and thin sliced cucumber. Cucumber sticks for munching and sliced peaches for dessert. (Ignore the messy slicing of the peaches - it's a clingstone peach, and the flesh refused to pop out of pit...)
