Everyone's gone!

So it looks like almost all my friends are at the beach.
Well, my three closest friends at least.
Unfortunately, one of them has my Xbox and I'm not gonna run into their house to get it.
Basically I've got a week of probably doing nothing, although I do have a bunch of other friends to possibly do stuff with.
I've got a PS2 with a bunch of games I have yet to finish (FFX, DMC3, a bunch more) so hopefully that'll keep my busy.
Otherwise, kinda boring outlook.

So I "obtained" a copy of Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012.
It kinda laggs like shit on my PC but it's playable.
The stupid ass double click is really fucking annoying.
It's not even a double click, I have to left click to play any damn card.
Also the AI must cheat since they get every good combo in their deck within like 5 turns.
Plus none of the decks are suited for winning in that span of time.
I may buy the XBLA version so it can run smoothly and surprisingly, mouse controls are a bitch for this game.

So yeah, my mom got this big thing of iced tea.
Like a gallon jug of it.
I was really thirst so I dug into it.
I drink some of it and it tastes terrible.
I check the jug to find out she accidentally bought a whole gallon jug of unsweetened iced tea.
...
Who the hell makes a gallon jug of unsweetened iced tea?
So now whenever I want a drink, I have to go through this whole process of adding sugar to my tea.
Ugh...

EDIT: Oh yeah, started listening to Daft Punk.
My friend is a big Daft Punk fan and I haven't listened to them much.
I figured to just download the discography and listen to it.
They're really good.
I hate techno music but I wouldn't really consider it straight up techno.
It's more of a techno-electronica blend.
Basically techno that isn't just mindless beats and that doesn't require hallucinogens and strobe lights to enjoy.

Lawl. My parents get unsweetened ice tea all the time. It. Fucking. Sucks.

BTW, thanks to you, I started MGS Peace Walker. It's pretty amazing.

Inorite? My only real issue is the controls and the lack of online multiplayer, but I'm hoping that the MGS HD Collection or the Vita will fix all this. Still, it's an awesome game that basically combines great aspects from every MGS game.

Well, his Xbox broke a while ago and I let him borrow mine. His whole family loves playing it so I don't want to be like "Hey, can I have my Xbox back?" It wasn't really an issue until I realized that I had FFXIII and a huge urge to replay Mass Effect. My brother has a Xbox but between him using it and other people watching TV (his Xbox is on the main TV, my Xbox is hooked up to the TV in my room), I don't get a lot of time to play.

:( I'm actually thinking of doing something I said I never would; getting a 360....just so I can play Mass Effect again. (1, 2, and 3 when it comes out)

Can't blame ya, Mass Effect is half the reason to buy the Xbox (unless you have a good enough PC). The PS3 version doesn't really cut it since it really takes the experiences of the first game to feel connected to the second and subsequently the third (probably). I'm really tempted to throw down some preorders for ME3 and Saint's Row The Third, actually.

the PC I was playing it on died, so i can't get my 'fix' anymore.
Which sucks because I really REALLY hate playing shooters without my mouse/keys

Anyways, you could just add a shitload of sugar to the entire jug, mix it, and take off the sticker.

Actually, don't do that. Most sweetened teas are sweetened with a variety of things, so just adding a ton of sugar will just give you diabetes in a cup. D:

Straight up sugar is the way to go. It also happens to be the least expensive way too.

Are you serious? When you brew ice tea you have to add sugar.

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to 1up you here when it comes to people getting foul food and drink. I gave my now thankfully ex girlfriend a pound coin, told her to go into the market and get some chocolate. Anything will do. She returns a few minutes later with a huge bag of chocolate buttons. Sweet, thinks I. I place one in my mouth. I immediately spit it back out and contemplate slapping her.

She bought dog chocolates.

She claims it was by mistake but I ask you how anyone could possibly fail to notice the rows of dog toys and bags of dog food next to the tub of chocolate buttons.

Thankfully I still had my old german shepherd Shana at the time (she has since passed away) so at least some good came out of it.

no, when you brew ice tea, you don't have to add sugar, in which case it's called "ice tea" if you add sugar then you made "sweet tea"
