I got an electric guitar!

My first electric guitar! It's a Craftsman EG90 (Craftsman is an in-house brand for the music retailer I bought from, I believe): http://www.citymusic.com.sg/webshaper/store/viewProd.asp?pkProductItem=351

I bought it for like 300SGD with a Line 6 Spider IV 15 amp (It's a package).

I apologies for the lousy photography.

I'm still an amateur so I don't know if I got a good guitar or anything, but it's pretty affordable and it's not bad, and I don't have any problems with it. The amp though, leaves a little to be desired, it doesn't sound very nice, but I guess it's good for its price and good for a beginner like me.

Make sure you pick up a decent amp. A lot of amateur guitarists get turned off playing because of the sound a cheap amp produces.

@Kevan, No I'm not turned off, some of the tones I get are not very nice but decent enough, and sometimes I get pretty good tones.

I also have one, but I rarely use it due to the fact I play my bass more. :3

And definitely get a better amp when you can. :D

Looks like a decent rig, lose the wammy bar, the switch is a pickup selector you'll probably want to experiment with that. It could use a pick guard. IMO good fx peddals are more important than amp quality. Learn a basic scale or two and enjoy yourself!
