School.

Yesterday was my first day. Senior Year. Finally gonna get out of the hell-hole that is school.
I love my classes. Except for AP Calculus. I'm like that slacker smart guy who kinda hangs out with the other slackers. So know no one in there. Why? On one side we have preppy, Student Body people (ASB) who are tight with each other and like no one else... then we have the super nerds who also kinda stay toghether... and lastly the kinda nerdy kids who give less of a crap. I know no one in there. It sucks. But I have all my other classes with my closest friends and everyone else I know.

I love how teachers always talk tough at the beginning of a course then turn into softies by the end.

DroRox, you'll miss School after it's over, trust me. My elder siblings used to say to me "You'll really miss School after it's over so enjoy your time there" I never believed them, but now....after passing off School and going to University, I really miss School and my classmates. The fun days we used to have....Uni life is so shit.

Can't wait for Uni though.

It's not here I think. Apparently, Uni in our country is "stressful bliss". I'll just wait and see. It's kinda funny how I'll start Uni at 16. XD Which means I'll be below the drinking age, voting age and smoking age; 18. School starts early and is 2 or 3 years less than most countries, which means earlier uni.

I finished at the age of 19. Now 21, half-way through my bachelors.

I'm a Junior this year and I've gotta say, this is going to be my best school year since...ever. My teachers are amazing, they started a Debit Card Program, second semester I do webdesign and all year I do Graphic Design...but C++ never happen

if you say that, then you don't know nothing about my Documentation teacher, it was tough at the beginning, he stayed tough in the middle and in the end all of my classmates hated him with his soul (it's an spanish expression, i don't know if you understand it)... well, that didn't happened with the others teachers, xD
i just hope i can pass this subject now in september

coming back to the topic, i start on 21st September, so i have 2-3 holidays weeks still, but i have to study for the test on 16th

Nah that's just how it is. In our country the Education System is like
Grade 1-6
High School 4 years
College.

Assuming we start grade 1 at the age of 6, then we'll be 16 by the time of College.

Me, for example, I'm 16, I should be in college now, but we went here to Canada and they made me take grade 10 again. (But I'm taking grade 11 and 12 simultaneously this year so not all bad.)
Forgot to mention, I think the government has approved this bill or something that will add 2 years to the education system, so it'll be like the other countries. IMO, it's unnecessary

It's kinda ironic that our country's school system is shorter by about 2 years, yet we can still achieve the same, if not better quality education than here in Canada (not bashing or anything). I mean, we dont use calculators or formula sheets in high school, but here it's required to have one. The sad part is, some people still fail the easiest exams.
The ironic part is that Canada Education is given higher regards while if you say you graduated from the Philippines, they will think you're just shit.
Well I'm not saying that education in Canada should be considered worse than in the Philippines, but people shouldn't just look down upon us like we were idiots who wasted time in school.

Anyway, starting school on friday, which I think is dumb, because saturday comes afterwards anyway.
