They did remake the music, but it sounds similar, 'tis all.

At the base, yes. It's mostly a graphically enhanced port (officially called a pure remake) of the Gamecube version and includes some support for 3DS features.

The Gamecube version was an emulated version of the N64 version.

Oh, sorry. What about Master Quest? Did they make that for the N64 and emulate it, or...

I'm waiting for the red one. In my opinion it's the best color so far. I wish there was a green one. D:

It is possible to extract the Master Quest rom from the Gamecube ISO and play it on a N64 emulator.

Yeah, it's true. I've never heard about the raised rubber pads on the flame red one. It sounds like it is true though.
The analog prints a small circle on the top screen (Well, the black margin) and the lower screen makes two vertical lines on the top screen. The marks can easily be wiped off, and they can't be seen while playing.

Oh, that explains things, thanks. And thanks ar25, that was helpful as well.

Yes, but only if you put to much pressure on it. I didn't have any issues like that myself.
[/quote]
I applied normal pressure and still have those marks...
