Why would anyone want to emulate a Wii U controller on the Wii U?

You misunderstood me. I want "emulators" on the controller such as playing n64/gamecube/ect... On the controller.

That's not controller emulation, that's emulation on a controller. There's a big difference.

Does anyone think blu ray? I mean did they even say what drive its going to be. Becuase a blu ray drve wouldnt be all that bad.

I want a linux port that is still able to use a ton of normal linux warez. Including a controller oriented GUI.

and a built in DS emulator.

If a hack were to come? ...and I mean IF..

+ A whole slew of emulation possibilities. If this console is as powerful as Nintendo claims? I'd love to see a PS1/X and PS2 emulators. Even if crappy. Just a proof of concept.

+ True customization and maybe a new UI. Knowing Nintendo, the WiiU will resemble a cross of DSi/3DS and Wii.

+ The ability of Remote Desktop, or maybe an ability to load an OS on there? Ubuntu, perhaps?

+ A dual homebrew effort... I don't want to see the 3DS hacked, but if it is I'd love to see some sort of homebrew that allows the 3DS and WiiU to communicate unlike what Nintendo may/may not bring.

Just a dream, but worth the vision.. At least I think.

WiiUFlow - I like the idea of sliding the covers with my finger
Installing a pirated DLC as easy as installing a WAD
Super fast linux
A mod that allows the WiiU controller to open up a portal to seek unknown life.

become a car.

I only want an official (console encrypted/signed) or hack way to store full games on an external HDD instead of using optical media.
Nintendo, stop using only optical discs. People like storing all their games at the same place and picking one without changing disc. Take example on Wii backup Loader's interfaces. Thank you.


About hack itself, just launching homebrew is enough.

I want U to become apart of me.

The ability to block auto updating of the firmware (because I'm sure ninty will put something like that in )

That's highly unlikely as Blu-ray for the most part = Sony

That's why I said unlikely rather than impossible. It's owned by (for the most part), but not created by Sony, so it's still a possibility.

I heard a rumor that Nintendo is using a game medium SIMILAR TO bluray. 1080P capable and 25GB capacity.

It's not unlikely, any company could use a bluray drive for there console whether or not it's (mosly) owned by sony, it's up to them whether or not to add one in.

That seems to be a much more likely scenario, though I'm not sure if it's legit, but we'll see.

I wouldn't be surprised if the game slot accepts bluray movies though.
