I think you don't get what people mean by saying 'good graphics don't make it a good game'. It's because Sony-Fanboys are all in for some 'Whoa ur games look liek shit, thus the game has to b shit hahahah XDXDXD'-action. So, even though you're right, that good graphics キshitty game, what else would you tell those ignorant sony-fags so that they will shut the fuck up? As far as I know these kind of fanboys, graphics (as for sony-fanboys. Same + Xbox Live applies to Xbots, Kiddy-Image blah to Nintendo-gamers, etc..) are everything for them, so if you attack their 'superior graphics', you'll hit them deep in the heart. :/

Oh come on. The DS has really great titles like Phoenix Wright, Okamiden, Professor Layton, Rhythm Tengoku, ...
If I had to chose on the PSP, I'd say some of the "great" games would maybe be MGSW, P3P, Me & my Katamari, DJ Max Portable, Ace Combat X, Valkyrie Chronicles 2 and that'd be it. But on the other hand, I'm the kind of gamer, that can't find anything interesting about God of War, Final Fantasy VII or Monster Hunter. So I can't put these games into consideration, even though hundreds of thousands think those are godlike games. Therefore, I can't deny your statement that the PSP has more great games, yet I find this difficult to believe. :3

Yh, at my school any games other than CoD, GTA, Halo or any other FPS are considered crap. Mix between PS3 and Xbox 360 though.

Us.. well it's kinda funny. A lot of people have the console combination of PSP + Wii. That's the gaming norm here.

I like any game that's good. Who cares where it came from. If it's good, it's good, no matter which console it came from.

EDIT: Something I find odd. People here complain constantly about Sony Fanboys but not many complain about Ninty Fanboys. Well it is GBATemp so I guess that makes sense.

Either its created by sony or nintendo or microsoft, as long as its a good game (not good graphics bad gameplay ) i'll play it! I think this kind of debate is normal, and good for us gamers so these companies will strive harder to get our attention and our hard earn ca$h !!

For the record, i enjoy more games from nintendo.. Does that count me as a nintendo fanboy?

This is one thing I can agree on.

People mean graphics alone doesn't make a game and some say graphics aren't as important than gameplay. Which I understand, look at pokemon.

But some games need good graphics such as GOW. Wonder how it would sell/be if it had pokemon graphics.


PS God of War - Ghost of Sparta is awesome.

Graphics and other things can just be a bag of tricks for a bad game.

A fanboy is someone who's brand-loyal and blind to the truth. Someone who only sees a company's actions as good and would go down with that company, defending them the whole way (i.e. Saying Sony had the right to sue George). You cannot be a fanboy to two competing companies. That's called being rational.

That makes pretty much everyone a blind consumer sheep. I can't say I disagree with that claim though. So many people will buy shit from the company they supposedly follow. You would think more people (Or at least more guys since we tend to think this way) would buy things based on the actual product rather than the company who made it. My tastes in systems has changed between Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo based on the quality of the products I was getting, and that's how it should be for anyone buying anything.
