Just put in my deposit for the 3DS

$170 dollars down and only $80 dollars for me to go.

I am the first to have paid it all off at my local GameStop ! Weeks ago.

I only put in a 30$ deposit. It sucks because I can't keep putting more money in the deposit but rather have to pay for the rest when the time comes.

I might change my pre-order to EB Games now because of that. Hmmm...

I am just going to buy it at launch day and post a unboxing here asap

I could waltz into somewhere like walmart and just buy one on launch, but i'm not going to till a good game or two comes out to actually make it worth getting.
Kinda sucks just having the system and nothing to do on it.

Actually....if its anything like japan's launch....it will pretty much be gone

and if my town is anything like my town, every store except maybe EBgames will have a bunch in.
Games sell out here, but not systems. DSl, DSi, DSi XL, Wii, any 360, any PS3. None sold out everywhere here. My town has a fairly small gaming community, and it shows quite a bit.

Saving money right now, but i would have to import it. Sadly.

If your town's Toronto, the quickest you'll get it if you don't pre-order is about a month after launch if you line up 6:00 in the morning.
I learned my lesson with the Wii...

Depends if people like fighters, or what kind. I'd never buy street fighter on the 3DS. 1: it's better on consoles, and 2: I don't like SF. I'd rather see soul calibur.

Then there isn't anything else even worth mentioning on the launch list.

It'll still easily be the worst iteration of it. I don't care if it's in 3D, the console versions have better graphics, better online, and better local play. And for a fighting game, the better online and better local play really help.
