$7/hour? Wow... I get $9.25/hour where I work..
Lol, here is Canada. The minimum wage is 10.25/hour 0_o
These minimum wages are all over the place... It's ridiculous...

OT: Having a minimum wage job at 24? That's pretty average over here, IMO. At my old job there was a... 28 year old working there I think...

Listen, TC. I have been looking for a job since the age of 20, going in and out looking for opportunities that were there. However, I didn't manage to get one. I even apply for that seasonal job in the UPS and you know how fucking early I had to get up?! Only to find out that I have never got a call back from those people again. I tried to apply jobs online like Target (Well that one bit the dust,) Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds, Wendy's, Bestbuy, Home Depot, and even Gamestop! NONE OF THEM wanted to hire to me, but yet my cousin who got out from Jail within a year tops gets a job in McDonalds like that?! WTF?!?

You should count your fucking blessings all right?! You know how hard it is to get a job right now? People like you make me sick, complain about your pay but at least you're paying state taxes! :glare:

Not trying to start an argument or anything, but from personal experience, applying online to jobs doesn't usually get you nowhere, it's always best to go in and talk to the hiring manager/manager and hand them your resume.

And yeah, take what you can get, it can be very troublesome to find a job you actually like.

Yeah...online doesn't really matter. Most hiring businesses won't actually look for hires there, unless it gets kinda desperate. You'll probably need to fill out an online application as a formality afterwords, but you're definitely going to want to talk to the manager directly.

Also, being straight out of jail is a good thing for a hire, sometimes. You obviously know how bad it can be so you won't complain about poor wages, and having the job is often a requirement of parole, so the manager feels good about helping you.

Really depends on your situation. Completely.

Depends if you're going to college/trying to pay off college, your education level, your personality... and a million other factors.

It's really impossible to tell without knowing information.

well i start tommorrow and i will be making 8.25 a hour i feel like such a loser because my 20year old cousin makes more than me
