Freshmen friday

Today was "freshmen friday" where all the seniors haze the freshmen. overall it was a pretty normal day, which sucks cause I wanted to see someone get beaten up. That is, until lunch time. So while I was eating, these seniors came over with a trashcan and said that someone was going in it. So the looked around and saw one of my friends and asked what his last name was, and when he said it, they were like omg we have to do this cause his sister is a senior, and they put him in head first, and apparently there was gum in there and it got in his hair and we had to cut it out.

So long story short, they got in school suspension, and I got it on video, and it's on youtube, but I don't feel like posting the link.

Also, some other seniors were drawing F's in sharpie on peoples foreheads before they had their ID picture taken, and they had to take it with the F on their head.

When I was a freshman, a group of seniors tried to write an F on my forehead. I told them that maybe we could do it the next day and walked away.

One time, a senior threw a water balloon at me and I caught it. I wish I threw it back at him...

Heh. Thank god when I was new to high school, no one really cared about it, and never got into any trouble.

You guys must be really bored over there... :ha:

Anyway, it was fairly tame at my school as well, however, I do remember an explanation a Senior friend gave me when I was a wee Freshie.

He said that in our school, Freshies would get hazed, Sophomores would be doing the hazing (since they were no longer Freshies and could finally enjoy it), Juniors would help out and defend the Freshies being attacked, and Seniors would just look down on them all as immature n00bs.

Fairly simple system. It's pretty hard to get hazed, though, if you act mature enough, no one knows the difference between a Freshie and an upperclassman.

Around here we don't get that. Or at least I never got any treatment. It's not like anyone cares, because my school starts in the 7th grade and stretches out till 12th, so freshmen were never really made fun of; the 7th graders were.

Oh yea at my school, freshmen get pennies thrown at them.
Or so I've heard

Got banned the year I became a freshman I think.

no clue, i had classes on the second and third floor after lunch so i luckily didn't get marked

FRESHMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Na Im kidding. I'm senior right now. Of all the years Ive been in high school no freshmen was overly abused like that. although I wouldn't call us tame since we've started a couple of small riots through out the years.

:( I'm scared of high school now.
Worst over here... well, last year's 8th grades(now freshmen) had a food fight and no one was allowed to switch classes. Strange last day. :\ There are some crazy people in this school though... :ha:

Better tradition than over here "slap-ass Friday" :\
:grog: Good times. :P

Nothing this bad at my high school yet. I'm entering as a Junior this year. I remember my first Freshmen week.. wow was I scared. Turned out to be alright.
