Just because there's no plot progression doesn't mean there's nothing there. As it is, I've never been a huge fan of the Haruhi series so I wasn't too disappointed by the whole "OMG WHERE'S MY NEW EPISODES!?!?!?!?!?!" fiasco when EE started airing.

I ended up viewing it as more of an 'art' thing, displaying the same thing from a different angle each time. It's certainly no justification for it, but it hit the right spots for me to enjoy it more than most of the other episodes in both series.

To be honest, I actually quite like viewing things from different perspectives. Rashomon (which does relatively the same thing, albeit there are many more variations between each retelling) is one of my favourite films, so whilst it might not be someone's cup of tea, it doesn't mean it isn't everyone's (Even though they were seriously trolling with it ).

I should really fix that. More like when they just showed stills that either were repeated stills or just a single still image.
But by repeating parts, I mean something along these lines
Give me a few minutes I need to dig them up, I recall a few parts, there wasn't a lot of them, but the ones they did have were just annoying

But yes, I noticed the repeated scenes &c in NGE...Glad they removed them for the films :3

And the movie still a mind-fuck though.

I now watched the movie after season one and before season two, will rewatch the movie after I've seen season 2.
Damn that movie was awesome... don't you think it had kinda some Nagato Kyon hints ?
And it had quite some dejavus (althougth I missed some due to still having to watch season 2 ( look forward to endless eight xD >< ).
