Best internet friendship ever?

Hai, guys!

Well...3 months ago.
I met a little fellow name Dialexio
We met when we collaborated on taking over the GBAtemp iOS jailbreak guide.

That was in August.
Since that day. Everyday, Dialexio and I chat via MSN.

We're in constant communication.

We get along like no other person I've met in real life....

We have so much in common.

Both love Apple
Own at least 2 iOS devices.
Enjoy jailbreaking.
Enjoy playing Mario Kart DS.
et al.

I cannot believe how short of a time it took to become such great friends...
We've had our ups and downs though

He once get real mad at me when I screwed up the iPhone wiki (Where he is an sysop).
But, we got through it.

Anyway, point of this blog was that GBAtemp formed me a really great friendship.

I have also made friends with, Scott-105, ProtoKun7, The Pi, Goli. et al.
GBAtemp forms bonds....I will probably never forget this place when I grow up.

I spent over a year of my teenage life here...And I don't regret one bit of it.

I wish I knew this place MUCH earlier...

I met a dude here a few years back, and we were close friends in a single month or so. I'm not some socially awkward retard and have a good number of friends. Funny enough, he was pretty much my best friend.

Best friend for me: PharaohsVizier. Hmmmm, it's been 2 years since we officially started talking to each other. Now look at me. I'm staff on his site, and we're chatting like crazy. :)

So I have herd. I feel internet friendships are often easier to talk to then in real life. Since no stuttering ( in my case) And, just easier.

All the best internet friends I made in 2005 are all gone now. Same with all my MMO friends, as well as most of my temp friends. Oh so sad.

But the internet is one crazy place though. Allowing you to meet people you never would in real life, bridging connections you normally would never make, and all that jazz. Maybe even go as far as to meet the special person in your life and end up getting married, like Spikey did.

and I agree with the rest of your post. The internet can be a pretty extraordinary place.

Though, I can't say i've ever made a friend on the Temp (or any forum actually). Weird considering how much time I spend on forums.
