Guess it's a date

So I just spoke to a close friend on msn, and he asked me out to see a movie.
And I'm a bit nervous :shy:
Last time we saw each other was at a huge party from another friend, and there he told me that he liked me, although he was drunk.
Then the next day he called me and said that he really meant it and we talked for a while. One of his closest friends let it accidently slip that he meant it.
We haven't really seen each other after the party (about a month ago), because of school and holidays and such.
But today we talked again and he was really nice.
After that he asked me if I wanted to go to the movie, and it's actually a romantic comedy
And now I'm quite nervous, since after my last bf and I broke up (if you can even call it that :glare:) I was a bit wary of having an other relationship.
But my best friend told me, the same thing I just told him two weeks ago, to just go for it and forget about the bastard guy!

Guess I should tell a bit about him too
I've known him now for 2-3 years and everytime we get together you can always find the two of us together.
He's a really nice guy, and actually listens to you when you have problems. He's a half year younger than me, but he's more mature than most of the guys I know IRL.
He really helped me after the death of my dad and supported me a lot. I could always talk to him, when I was feeling down.

To be honest, I think I really like him too.

congratulations :) what is the movie called actually? a girl I know might want to go there as well :)
best of luck with your new crush ;)

Woooh! :) That's great news Dear :)
And if you think you really like him, and he told you he likes you... I say: Give him the biggest hug ever after the movie! As in "i'm not letting go for a while"-hug... :) and push yourself close against him... That'll make sparks fly all over the place, trust me ;)

Going the Distance
And it's kinda rare x3 Normally I'm not really into romance stuff, but I love a good comedy/action/horror movie.
But for some reason  I'm in the mood for a bit of romance for once.

thanks :) just going to ask her what she thinks about it :)
also good luck on your date, as Issac said hug him afterwards if you think it was worth it ;)

oh but I mean, hug in a "more than friends" way.
I know my ex and I did... and we hugged eachother, and she pressed herself against me. stomach against stomach, breasts against my breast, legs against legs... almost... like one lying on top of the other, but standing up... looking deeply at eachothers faces / eyes... we stood like that for 30 minutes, then we kissed... That's how me and the ex became a couple :P

I meant it in a bright way >.>

Anyways, I know you are not a guy (DuH?) just to share this tip I've been told (as a guy)
act naturally, be naturally, don't think it as a date, more like a meeting, like you meet your friends, he's simply on a test to become one :)

I really hope phoenixgoddess7 won't go and yell at me telling me not to give you guy-side relationship tips or you won't be mad at me for giving this tip, but once you are acting naturally, so does the other side, this makes the meeting much more friendly :)

please don't hate me :(

Tbh, that's what I always do, I think it's sucks to act like someone you're not.
And I like guy-sided relationship tips, so thanks~! ;)

Here's a a tip from a guy's perspective:

There's no need to impress him anymore. You guys known each other for 2-3 years, and he's taking you out now, so you definitely impressed him enough.

IMO, I think you should just be upfront and tell him your nervous (that is, if you are nervous), because it's more than likely that he's also nervous too.

Other than that, just let him lead (most guys want to), as he will already take you into consideration when he makes his decisions on "what to do next". However, when he is lost at what to do, kindly give him some ideas.

Oh and yeah, be yourself (as stupid and cliche that is).
