Okay for those of you who don't know I dropped my phone & iPod Nano 4G into a pool. They dried out and only the phone & headphones survived with minor injuries. The phone's battery dies in two days on standby & the END/PWR key does not function. Strangely enough, if I need to power up the phone the END/PWR key works but when in the actual interface, it does not respond.
We're going to call up Verizon Wireless (my carrier) to see what new phone I can get. I have insurance on my phone so we only have to pay a $50 for an exact replacement. This is my phone: SCH-U450 (Samsung Intensity). I dissike it very much... My parents are not ones to pay money for a phone or extra for a plan that a phone requires, ever. My dad works for Verizon Telecom (not Verizon Wireless) and so he gets a limited 20% discount on our phone needs/services.
Although if I get a choice to change my phone to one of the same value I'd have to go with the Pantech Jest which is sadly out of stock online during the writing of this blog entry.
If my parents were high and wanted to get me a decent/not insanely expensive smartphone like I'd like, I'd choose the LG Ally, Verizon's cheapest Android phone.
In case you haven't noticed I like phones with a QWERTY keyboard, I hate txting use a dial pad or a touchscreen.
