2 A.M. and guess what?

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time... No seriously. I had the weirdest hankering for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and it's 2 A.M... So I get my lazy ass off the computer, only to discover that we had no traditional sliced bread. Then I see a loaf of Italian sub bread... Sweet! $.50, 12 incher here I come!! I first warmed my bread in the Toaster Oven, which we proudly call "crusty". Then when it came out of the oven, I smothered both sides of the bread with Peanut Butter, then I slathered globs of jelly in the middle. On my first bite, the peanut butter immediately makes my mouth quiver. Then after several more bites it became hard to chew, so I put it down and gargled some milk. OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!! After I got finished, I licked the plate clean of any delectable drippings.

TL:DR version:

1. 2 A.M. munchies
2. Bread + PB+ Jelly
3. ????
4. Profit!!

IF you mean sandwiches, then yes. Anything else no. I do like subway though.

I think its good, and excessive amounts of butter make me suck.

Nutella on toast > Peanut butter & Jam
I'd like to try PBJ but I don't know if anywhere in the UK sells that kind of "jelly"...

Then you haven't even tried a "Frietje Speciaal":
1208-20080408-tocht0603.jpg

Fries with mayonaisse and curry.
No, not the indian curry.
Because, in Holland/Belgium/Germany we eat something called "Curry" with our fries.
But actually it's just ketchup with spices added to it.

Then add some onion on it, and it's perfect.

Or, a "Frietje Oorlog":

Fries with mayonaisse and peanut sauce.

Mmmmm you got me hungry.

The proper way to make a warm PB&J is to cook it like you would a grilled cheese sandwich, slowly in the pan so the peanut butter and jelly melt just so. Best thing ever.

Don't knock til you tried it

I thought it looked nice.

Though I probably wouldn't have the peanut sauce, I don't have peanut butter very often either.

those fries look disgusting...but i cant knock it cause i havent tried it, even though i would be reluctant to if given the chance

It's different, really. Not the same as peanut butter.

I would too, however, I just enjoyed dinner...

Also, I love "Frietje Speciaal" without the onions. I hate onions.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Me and wifey was deciding on our next vacation, so I hung up a map on the wall, and give her a dart and said, wherever you hit, we will go. She threw the dart and it missed the map completely and fell into a trash can below on floor. So I said "ok Florida it is."
