Well, I got in one today, actually. It's also my first accident in my life.
I was sitting in the front of the bus, but I was looking outside the window on the sides. All of a sudden, there was a lot of honking going on, so I looked at the front.
Holy shit, the moment I looked front, we crashed into this car. Inside the bus was a mess, but nobody was hurt. The car literally went flying into the middle of the road. The backside was terribly damaged. The bus driver found where the car went, and parked in a construction site not being used. The driver came out, and met with the driver inside, who were maybe 2 or 3 years older than I was. Seriously. There were two people on the car.
The student driver, was crying pretty hard. The other one was comforting her. The damage was even worse when I saw it upfront. The driver kept apologizing, and called 911. Everyone on the bus, decided to leave.
I actually asked around to hear what happened. Surprisingly, majority of the people didn't see the whole thing. However, with the information I got, what basically happened was.
The bus driver was driving aggressively, then we slowed down when we saw the red light. There were a few cars in front of us, and it turned green again. After a few cars, it surprisingly turned yellow, and the driver in front of us hesitated then stopped. That's where the bus came in. The bus driver stopped way too late. It went flying by then.
Scary experience. Thank god no one was hurt at least.
