I have had it with MW2!

that sounds really annoying. my friends always talks about Halo or some other game they have been playing on their 360,and I don't have one,I only have a ps3,so they talk to me about it,and idk what the heck they're talking about. I like COD MW2,only because,its the first FPS ive ever played on a console(besides ds),and I've never played Halo before,anyways,yeah,these things get annoying.

Fair enough with the first FPS. I agree, the first game of any genre you play is pretty special. Halo is pretty bad, but it was my first FPS, and that's why I'm still in the series.

It's because they play competitively.

Am I the only one that still thinks "mechwarrior" when someone just says MW expecting everyone to know what they are going on about?

Halo and COD are both overrated. Don't get me wrong, they're good games, in fact, fantastic games in their own way but they are not the best FPS's ever made. Halo's pretty solid, but I was never fond of the weapons. Plus Halo 3 never made it to PC so that sucks, And I personally don't like COD because I just don't like war games (I hate history in general). Its all about personal opinion and I agree, I hate it when dumb motherfuckers keep talking about them. These twins in my class don't do anything but talk about COD. We had this assignment where we had to make up our own sport or make a twist on an existing sport and they tried to invent "Real Life COD". Dumb motherfuckers I tell you.

My opinion on Call of Duty is that they're great games. They've got addictive multiplayer and good production values. Do I think they're the best games ever? Not by a long shot. Do I think they're the best FPS games ever? Hell no. Do I think they're solid, competitive multiplayer driven titles? Yes. People who say "MW[2] sucks and is horrible" means they either...

A) Aren't good at it. Like at all.
B) Don't like FPS games anyway
C) Are based on different types of FPS games (like older stuff)
D) Love to be in the "unique kids' crowd" of being nonconformist.

I do think that Activision is pushing the series towards death, wanting to pump out CoD games every year and are milking it dry incredibly fast, but it's still a solid, multiplayer-driven game.

That's just me.

well I sometimes play MW2 co-op with my brother or online with some friends on the ps3. That's also alot of fun. But the game is a bit overrated, everytime I come online, people ask me the next day what level I am and stuff...

Modern Warefare 2 is a great video game, in the multiplayer, campaign and spec-ops. Although the multiplayer is good, it is too broken and unbalanced.

The campaign is poor, takes like 4-5 hours to complete... Spec Ops is great and multiplayer is unbalanced but still fun imo

I'd love to see all those nerds real war if they're so good at pressing a few buttons & it's upsetting when they know each online map in their head because it generally means they played Online Mode 10 Hours + (total). They actually get upset when somebody cheats too, because in World At War, I found the spawn point & stayed there, shooting people as they spawned & I won the match, then they got all angry saying "Thats the only way you can win because you're a noob." I dont know any people who get angry at computer games except people I play with online.

That is pretty damn harsh dude, the campaign was pretty well done. Even though it only took around 5-6 hours it was still a good campaign bro.

Spawn points change depending on where your team is based, if you camp where they are currenty spawning then your team mates will spawn around you causing the enemies to spawn elsewhere

The plot is pretty straightforward, there are only a couple or so parts in it where playing the previous Modern Warfare would shed more light on the story. Although as you have said, that is your opinion.

Though once they died they would have spawned around you, although the only other way they would be spawn trapped is if you were playing a domination game where they were trapped with only one flag. If that were the case then you still wouldn't have one the game based on kills.

My bro (who's played and finished the MW2 campaign) agrees and thinks the campaign in MW2 is really disappointing in comparison to MW1. Again though, it's just his opinion.
