This is my first blog entry ever at GBAtemp.
I just have to say that I'm incredible proud of myself for finally getting my first DS game since summer last year. Note that I'm Australian so it was winter for a lot of you guys last year, which is when I got my first flashcart. You might've noticed I said "getting" instead of "buying" in my second sentence. Well that's because I actually accepted a deal where you trade in any 2 NDS games for Platinum free. I actually made a promise to myself when the US ROM was dumped that I would play it first then get the actual game later and I'm really glad I fulfilled my promise. What I did didn't make me feel as good as I would've if I actually paid for the game so I ended up buying that massive 624 page strategy guide for $34 AUS which is about half the price of a normal DS game here.
Yay for the crappy DSi-quality photo.
There is a con to actually buying the game from my experience. I dumped the game yesterday using Rudolph's NDS Backup Tool and realised since the Game ID is different, I'd have to edit the cheat database manually or continue using the US dump not that I plan on playing the game off my genuine game cartridge much anyway.
I know my blog entry is really corny but feel free to tell me about games you've bought since you started getting into the flashcart scene and how you felt afterwards.
