...And it was awful. I installed Windows 11 on my 2.00GHz overclocked 4GB Raspberry Pi 4, and the performance (even on SSD) was utter shit. I used my licensed copy of NTLite to strip it down of bloatware first. Still pretty sluggish though. So that was fun.
Without hardware acceleration, I wasn't expecting much, but I didn't think it would be so unresponsive. Hopefully some kind of open source video driver at least gets 2D acceleration for the desktop. I even turned off all the fancy special effects, to no avail. Was a neat experience seeing Windows running on a Raspberry Pi though, I never thought that would happen beyond Win10 IoT.
4/10, not recommended beyond bragging rights.
