So my girlfriend bought me a $129 coffee mug...

She got her tax refund of $4,000 and got me the Ember 2 adjustable heat 14oz coffee mug. I'm new to this thing, but of all the ones I've researched on Amazon, I kept coming back to it. It's gonna be weird not microwaving hot water in the mug directly anymore, I'll have to get used to that... But I have high hopes that this thing will be my new best friend.

I spend many hours at my PC, and had a coffee warmer under my mug, but it always timed out after 30 minutes, and sometimes it takes me a few hours to get through a cup of coffee. What's nice is it has a battery in the base of the mug, and when you lift the mug the battery takes over and can heat the mug for about 2 hours without the base.

We ended up buying it from Verizon's website for only $107 after shipping and tax, so we saved some money that way. EMBER GANG, RISE UP! :toot:

Just make sure you buy a Un-patched model, used/ or new if you can find but doubt. Ebay, Craigslist, etc.

If they ever make a Switch pro, I'll sell my "Erista" hackable system. It's never had a payload injected to it.

@OldBoi As far as I'm aware, only launch-model Switch units have the quite-easy RCM exploit; newer models (like the red-box Mariko, and especially the Lite that doesn't even have detachable JoyCons) don't have any real entrypoints yet.

If you've got a launch-model Switch, it's very easy to install homebrew on it.

I'd honestly sell my hackable Switch to another GBAtemp member for regular retail price, after I get my Switch Pro. I'd rather it go into the hands of somebody worthy than some random shmuck with a kid that would ruin it / not appreciate what they have.

I always dreamed about something like this. But they are quite expensive imo. I hope I can get one once they lose their exclusivity and become a "normal" thing to have at every home.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new mug! It looks awesome! :D
