So I'm not really sure why so many people are talking about the American Medical Association all of the sudden but I thought I'd give my thoughts on the matter regarding the AMA.
Personally, I'm all for medical lobby groups. It's of the utmost importance that we support our doctors and the advancement of medical sciences, especially in the times we face. However, curiously, I found that the AMA does not support universal healthcare (at least they never explicitly state they do because they're too much of cowards to say they oppose it). This is super lame, in this day and age where it is (in my opinion) thoroughly obvious that we desperately need universal healthcare to support disadvantaged citizens, it is deeply disappointing to see one of the biggest physician lobby groups in the United States not support universal healthcare.
I guess this goes to show that lobby groups are all self-interested hacks. very disappointing.
Well, I hope I did this AMA thing right, what are your opinions?
