Installed some DIY LED lighting in my living room.

So I went to Home Depot and Ikea yesterday and got everything I needed to make some indirect LED lighting for under $50. Just an LED strip of "warm white" LEDs, some double-sided clear Gorilla tape, and some cheap crown moulding. Used a wood saw to manually cut the ends at a perfect 45° angle for the corner. Took me about two hours from start to finish. It makes the living room look much more light balanced. I've always wanted to do this. And since I'm in an Apartment, I can easily take it down when I move out, without leaving any trace that it was installed.

Lookin very nice. Love the simplicity of it!

I got similar Led strip and put it above my kitchen units. Looks awesome and nicer ambience than the normal ceiling light AAAND I don't need to put any UNDER the units either!! My daughter annoys me with the multi colour remote however lol!

Yeah, I didn't want to go with RGB, because the "white" it creates doesn't look good to me, and it comes off rather glaring. I went with dedicated warm white, and I love it. I'll go with RGB in my gaming room though.

This looks nice!!

I just bought this same setup, though I went for RGB strips, and some diffuser panels as well. I’m going to string them along the bottom of my wall’s crown moulding.
