So my fb account just (nearly) got hacked. At first i got email notify me that my password has changed, and i suddenly has panic attack, and quickly go to my pc and attempt to save my account. Fortunately i got 2FA enabled, so the damn hacker did not have access to my account. But currently my account is in a locked state, because i requested 2FA code repeatedly. Now it won't send me codes anymore lol.
I read somewhere that there is a way to read other people sms through SMS hijacking, do you think that's possible for someone to do that? If so oh man i can say goodbye to my account for sure.
For anyone's wondering why the person managed to change my password, because my old phone number still tied to my account. And the phone carrier actually recycle the number if it's inactive for long period of time. So maybe that person who holds my old phone number attempts to hack it.
