Yellow flowers (nonsense, experiment)

Something tells me that you are fed up of stubborn dandelions growing everywhere

Would you let it slide if someone you're seeing wasn't told about this disdain and brought you yellow flowers on like the 1st or 2nd date?

That is understandable.
Lilac everywhere is much better in my Opinion.
Or,much,much better - Lavender...

This did not quite work out like I expected. It was an experiment and it failed miserably. Maybe it was too obvious but it is a pleasant surprise. I'm glad it failed.

I’ve noticed in the past that expressing some kind of antipathy had the effect that the person who said “I dislike ‘X’ ” gets spammed with ‘X’
What I had expected was a bunch of comments with pictures of yellow flowers.

Last night I thought about this and wanted to deliberately try it. I considered choosing something I seriously dislike was too “dangerous”. So I came up with the yellow flowers thing. It is not my favorite color but I don’t have a big problem with yellow flowers – just prefer other colors. If I had been spammed with pictures it would have had no effect on me.

Thanks to everybody on GBATemp who read this short blog entry and chose not to be childish! Surprisingly good result!

Time to get serious again.

Dandelion… while not the most pretty plant, it is surely an interesting one – and many people really hate it with passion. It grows everywhere – no matter what people try to get rid of it. Sometime I think – exaggeration – throwing some dandelion seeds onto planet mars should be sufficient to bring life there despite the very thin atmosphere and missing water.

Hard to answer this theoretical question as I will not date anybody. Bringing any cut flowers for a date would be a disappointment for me because cut flowers simply die. Bring me potted plants!

It is of no use spamming me with comments and/or pictures of the “Voldemort” plant because monitors do not stink.

Man, I knew that was a real over the top sour reaction to poor innocent flowers lol. Interesting kinda psychological/sociological test.

Nobody gets this angry at something like flowers and their colours. Next time if you want to make it believable you need to make it about something you could actually get plausibly angry about.

Alright. Potted, living yellow flowers it is then. Is something like this okay?

My dyslexic ass was reading this entire post as yellow followers. I was like, "what is this guy smoking?"

I could not come up with a better idea and tried to avoid anything that could be really controversial.

This blog entry is not a downright lie. I somewhat dislike yellow and I can show over the top sour reaction to poor innocent flowers (admittedly not yellow – it’s the stench of lavender… and a very sad background story).

Again: The result was really a positive surprise. I guess on other platforms the result would have been the expected spamming even with this stupid example. Sadly I have seen it here on GBAtemp in the past – and this was only about two strange “words”.
