Plain and simple!

SX Pro is by far the most polished package for the Switch at this point in time. Yes, they may be using code from other places but the code is open source if you guys have forgot that. Plus the fee I paid is for future proofing my investment. If your going to hack you Switch, quit asking about being banned or playing online. Consider that off limits. Homebrew and backup are your best options. Slam SX Pro all you want but the other options are not as satisfying in the end.

and we need a thread for this why?

Oh thank heavens the mods moved this to where it belongs! In the trash! As a blog post! Now, let's go over what is wrong with this statement.
  1. You can play backups via .NSP files with ReiNX and Tinfoil
  2. SX Pro can be DIY with 12 dollars, a little bit of skill, and your time
  3. Legitimizing stealing other people's work without crediting them is basically plagiarism
But if you want something that can play .XCI files at the moment or install DLC/updates just fine, SX OS is pretty good at that.

@k3rizz3k I'm just waiting on OP to call me a cheapskate then I can tell him the only cheapskate is someone who thinks its ok to pay for something to pirate games with as opposed to paying for the games themselves

SX OS is absolutely not the most simple option out there, honestly it's the least simple when it comes down to it.

There's really nothing to debate here. Everything I've stated is true (well, maybe not so much the last part). Outside of the benefits I listed, SX OS/Pro only offers subjective benefits which is not worth discussing because everyone has different capabilities. Some people can follow long and complex guides while others would prefer to pay someone to read the guide for them. Point is there's no reason to justify your purchase because others will disagree with your opinion. Obviously people will pay for SX OS but don't expect everyone else too, even if their end goal is piracy.

And using some firmware a teenager applied patches to, added a custom boot screen and then compiled using others peoples guides is more trust worthy then Team Xecuter who has longevity to back them up. Yeah OK.

So you're going to ignore all of the evidence that proves that TX is not the trustworthy team they claim to be? The fact that not all of their code is original? The fact that they never admitted to having brick code until someone else triggered it (albeit through cracking it but the point still stands)? Or the fact that they don't even just sell their own product on their own website? What can be to one side can be done to the other.

Ah yes, i have seen the light of Team XecuterTM and their brand new SX ProTM and SX OSTM products! The most simple and easy way to hack a switch! There's nothing sketchy about giving some random company who made hacking tools 10 years ago money and expecting a polished product, and since they steal all their code from open source projects they're nice people too!

I don't know what anti-piracy user hurt you but believe whatever you want to believe. Thank god the scene doesn't revolve around your beliefs.

Legit people don’t frequent places like this, they don’t care to. They pay for their products. I know why I’m here, been here for years.

"legit people" dont buy sketchy products from sketchy devs with 0 reputation and stolen code but go off, im too bored to keep commenting

Hmm, guess me and the other half of GBATemp aren't legit like you say they are. Since you seem so keen on selling TX-related products, do you have any recommendations on where I can procure some so I can finally realize my dream of becoming a legit person?

Goodnight all. Going to play Wolfenstein in the morning. That’s a really great game on the go. And yes I own a digital copy which I gladly paid for.

In the 80s we recorded cassette tapes from originals cassettes and made mix tapes from multiple artists. Wonder is that was piracy also. We just considered it sharing and no one made a big deal. How times have changed or have they?
