Favourite Bible verses

Hi,

I'm Christian and Trans, shocking huh? Every day I hear stories about conservative "Christians" who tell LGBTQ+ people they are bad people and idiots and the like. This is what I got to say about this issue. Like Jesus once said:

"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."

This can be found in "Matthew 7:3‭-‬5 KJV"
Readable here: https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.7.3-5.KJV

Brother can be substituted with neighbour, thus applying to everyone.
I recommend you to think about what you do when judging people, because that's against Christian moralities.

These are my some of my favourite Bible verses.

I wish y'all a nice rest of the day.

Kind regards,
Procyon

It's possible. I personally prefer to look at Jesus as an example of how to live one's life, anyway, rather than necessarily a supernatural being. That said, I highly doubt that he didn't at least claim to be the Son of God, given that according to the Jewish historical text he didn't deny that he was when put on trial before Pontius Pilate (that is, if I'm remembering my theology correctly)

@DinohScene the problem is that religion itself is not a bad thing, the problem is the people themselves who only pick whatever hate induced thing that justify their hate thoughts.

For example, jesus himself hated no one and loved everyone as an equal. People often forgets the own words of jesus and just, as i said, pick up only the hate verses to justify their conservative/hateful minds.

my favorite verse is: For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16:26

Favorite bible verse? Huh, I haven't really taken the time to sit down and choose... the bible (especially the old testament) is REALLY long :P but the one above me sounds cool ^

I'm the type of person who reads or looks at the original. That's why it's not better for me. However, I only read this one.
