still coding and testing

Life has many bumps and pot holes especially when you are young everything seems to take forever. Just be patient and do not obsess over what you might thing is currently "super" important. Got get a ice cream and learn to chill out.

Programming is hard just like many things in life but you gotta keep chugging. There is always wii homebrew.

Indeed.

As you grow older real life gets in the way. But I think as many other things in life, if you are passionate about something, you will accomplish your stuff.

Community support is also very important. I am happy I got to know very talented devs from across the world. Honestly that is something I am very grateful for, as in my country there isn't that much advanced development, and, there is very little support for research and development here... You either have money and join some prestige college or nothing.

I'm happy there are still devs making games for the Wii.
You might not get a lot of followers waiting and commenting on your project, nor even users who will play it when it's released, but don't abandon because of that. Just do what you like as long as you can.

I wish I'd have more time to spend on dev and gaming too, but life got most of my free time away.

@Coto and @Ryan yup for sure gotta take life with its ups and downs. I think I might be obsessed with the little white box, lol but I contribute in the little way that I can. I am often suprised at the size of the other homebrew scenes like C64, Nes, 3ds etc which are probably much harder to write code for while I am here probably the last man standing on the wii scene in terms of new stuff.

I don't really mind that the scene is not that active. The thing I find most annoying is that the Homebrew browser doesn't update and there is probably no way to convert the people who are currently using it to a newer system. I have NewoAsteroid 2.6 in there for like ages. Funny thing about NA 2.6 is that its the version right before I figured out how to do in game auto updating so the HBB people just keep downloading and playing the old game code and I cannot get the 2.7 release into it.

I should have tried to build a replacement a long time ago but heh, not enough time in the day.
