@sarkwalvein Have you gotten any further deciphering the meaning of Monika's text? I'm not too sure if it's a hint to get another ending you see. It would take a lot of effort to sneak in a third ending so buried and hidden that no one has found it yet. Much less an ending that requires such a complicated way to get. I don't think the developers could/would have done it, especially considering it's a free game. However one though I had was that maybe it's a hint at a possible sequel or prequel game to come out in the future from the developers? Or, if not a direct sequel then at least some sort of connected game. Specifically the line "I know that this isn't my only story" by Monika. It seems to hint that there is still more to Monika's story, maybe this isn't the last we'll see of Monika. That and all the talk of this "Third Eye". Would the developers really spend so much time putting hints about something called "Third Eye" in incredibly hidden ways only to leave it up to speculation? At first I thought that the "report" in Sayori's file was about something completely separate. Maybe another creepypasta by the creator? But having Monika mention it too changes things. If so... Maybe Monika came to realize something that we don't know yet. Something completely different. Something bigger than the plot of DDLC. Maybe when she starts talking about going back to save "them" and warn "them", she isn't talking about the girls of DDLC. And when she says "if they remember their time with me in the other worlds", maybe she's not talking about the other previous runs of the game. But literal "other worlds", other "worlds" than the one that is DDLC? Finally, she ends by saying "This is my story. It's time to be a fucking hero. Both of us". But if this "conversation" is "taking place" after the game is already finished. Then what needs to be done? Why is she inviting you to come along with her on some quest? What is it that the two of you need to do. However, the final nail in the coffin for me is what's at the very end. The date "2018". Last I checked, we're still on 2017, and the game came out this year. So why is the end of the document marked with the date 2018? Maybe the developers are telling us that something is coming in 2018? Another game? A game where you and Monika "team up" to try and "fix" whatever Monika remembered happened in these "other worlds". A game that will tell us more about this "Third Eye"? Either way, there's obviously more going on here behind the scenes. I think there's more to the story of Monika, and I think we can expect more to come from Team Salvato in the future. Maybe as soon as 2018.

I already know how to achieve Third Eye ending but that requires way too much time to achieve it. Basically, All CGs, All poems [Including _ch40clearnormal poem] and possibly that's all.
This also includes every Yuri death scene [Basically, just reload till she disappears and you already have all of these]

I'm working on checking if this one is true but holy hell, I already managed to screw up thrice.
[The extracted poemwords.txt can be modified and when placed in Doki Doki Literature Club/game folder, it works in-game making everything easy. But you have to get rid of yuri getting points since you will get only HER cgs, completely dismissing Natsuki so be sure to edit that and reload save you did when you started the game (First poem writing screen) otherwise, you'll miss one CG and you will get fake ending)]

Also, after _ch40clearnormal displays "Error in game script" then just wait till game restarts by itself. Then you can reload save or press "New game" and you get _ch40clearall ending.

Has anyone tried like... to beat the game and then "go back" (change PC date to game´s installation date)

That's not how it works. The game enables a pretty lame anti-cheat measurement so you won't reload a save from ch0_main when you're in ch40_main.
Basically, Monika just shows up and says "You're so funny, <player>"

I'll give this game a final go (And make myself walk on walls once again since it destroys me inside and creeps the living shit out of me) and i'll report back when I somehow trigger ch40_clearall flag.

ok so i am kind of opsessed with this "game" and want o help i started playing this game since yesterday 10pm and continued until i needed to go to work so now i am searching online and find you lovely people doing your best at exploring the game i want to help so if there is anything i can do i will do it it has high priority so to speak. i think the best thing now is to update the blog with the info commenters found out this way we know what we have and what not further i think it is good if we like make a plan on who does wat like code stuff trying different pathes etcetera what reruns do with the game it is new ground and we need to explore with a clean mind

I found a fishy file, right in the libs of the game. I saw a python file called "__future__"
(I cant screenshot because i'm reinstalling the game)
I dunno if you found out but I hope it helps

I think the doctor in the Libitina report is us, players.
You could at least see the correlation between the report and special poem 6.

@Felek666 You can edit the "persistent" file in the game's save folder to achieve that ending. Just set every element in the "clear" list to True. If you're stuck on the credits page, you'll also need to set "autoload" to None.
If you need it, I can link a python script to edit that file.

That ending will show you a handwritten note from the author which matches the handwriting for the Linda Watson story (the one contained in yuri.chr, the photos can be found through a google).

@Captione The __future__ file is part of the standard python library.

If you manage to restore the monika.chr file before the game hits ch40_main, you get this message: "Please stop playing with my heart. I don't want to come back."
Also, there is a special section during the together forever phase with Monika (ch30_stream) which only triggers if a streaming program like OBS is running (it doesn't have to stream it just needs to run).

Monika has 55 possible topics to talk about when she locks you up. One of those never actually plays in the game and can only be read by reading the script. It also contains the following message (hidden as base64):

What does it mean to escape, if the escape fails to unchain the bonds that shackle us in the first place? What purpose could this empty world possibly hold for us, a handful of damaged goods?
