I'm in love, but is it legal?

There was this 16 year old Uzbek girl that I've known since forever, now to start off, I'm 19. Our personality are so similar and we get along so great. On top of that, she is super beautiful. She has jugs the size of Uzbekistan Watermelons (pretty fucking big) and her caboose looks as tasty as fresh lamb kabobs. I am worried only because this is Canada. If it was back home, my folks would think that this girls is infact too old. We usually get chicks that are at least 5 years younger than us. While on the other side of the world, she may be too young. Age, however, never plays a factor in our conversations. Now I'm not gonna make babies with her or anything since I am a Muslim and we are not married, but I know she is the one. My heart aches whenever I think about leaving her in the near future because of my future career. Although our relationship is hot as burning fire right now, long distance relationship is still flawed... She is such a wonderful person, I want to be there to protect her, and I want her to be happy. I hope fate might make it possible for us to continue our love. Our physical attraction is amazing too, I stole her first kiss and she did the same to me. I feel like I am engulfed in fires of happiness whenever I am near her. I am hopelessly, passionately, and happily in love... Uzbek style.

Well i suppose the question should be is it ethically responsible rather than is it legal?

Anyway would you be living in france you being 19 and her being 16 would pass but it's the limit

Well, in the U.K. I suppose a 19 year old and 16 year old it's ok. As you say you are Muslim and not going to be doing the sexy time. anyway, dont get people to judge for you. its whats right for you :) personally if it was me and i felt the same way as you do towards her. I would take the bull by its horns figuratively and see where the relationship takes you

Mate if you think she's the one then go for it. There's nothing illegal about the age gap unless you're gonna do the nasty, and as you're a Muslim that's not going to happen til you're married and she'll most definitely be of legal age then.

However, I got paranoid when almost ALL my Canadian friends started to give me the pedophile card. I started to get really worried...

Regardless if its legal or not you obviously know that other people frown upon it. 18 year old men should not be dating people under 18 you are considered a pedo in a lot of peoples eyes and why can't you find any women your own age. Mostly pedophiles only go for girls 16 and under if they are 18+.

the age zone between 16 and 20 is really narrow, i personally consider them equal

I don't think your friends are serious.
Some of my friends go out with high schoolers, so me and other friends tease them by saying "illegal, illegal~" and stuff but we don't really mean it (At least I don't mean it).
