About the DSi exploit leak [Non-Shitpost Version]

Ok, so I'm gonna join this drama because why the fuck not. Anyways, to me, selling a DSi exploit doesn't make sense (unless Nintendo make 1.4.6), so why did Nintendo pay PokeAcer? I know I'm probably missing a lot of information, but like I said in the shitpost, I really don't care all too much. Plus, this probably won't matter in a few months or even days, so why create so much drama?

Anyways that's my opinion, I'll be here with some popcorn to see the hate on this thread and its inevitable lock

The DSi one was the only one not sold, however it was leaked
PokeAcer sold ihaveamac's browser bypass and MrNbaYoh's Flipnote 3D exploit making ~$3,200.

I'll make a summary if you want but that's just what's relevant tonight

I'd imagine he bought a mac specifically for the sake of irony

he got the money and has already used some of it, so buying one to be a dick doesn't sound very unlikely

DSi one got posted cuz it's discontinued so script kiddie 2003 wouldn't have gotten anything from nintendo for it

that's actually... pretty shitty. If you are so on need of money get a fucking job or sell stuff...

and here im, hopping to open drawings commissions soon to earn my own money instead of stealing stuff and claiming them as my own work :glare:

stuff that will likely makes devs to rage quit. The ones who lose are the end user and they. Hopefully magnethax is still coming, im still patiently waiting and would rage the shit out of me if normatt rage quits due to this kind of stuff happening here.

I'm personally hoping MrNbaYoh doesn't stop finding exploits because of this. He's done some amazing work for the 3ds scene (And his work helped me hack a friend's system back at around 10.5, bless Basehax)

@kprovost7314 If some of those cfw users are people that don't appreciate conniving thieves that screw over their friends and pretend to be remorseful, they do. This isn't about what people didn't get for themselves. Its about someone harming a community that we are a part of in the most disgusting way possible.

The only thing i can say is i feel bad for the people whose work he ripped off, you know, the people who worked hard on this stuff and didn't receive payment. The guy lost all his friends, and so shall it be!
