My Behavior

So I have 6 warning points..... Now I'm only talking about his now because I haven't received one in quite a while, so I'm asking how I can get those points removed/nullified. I figured I've been pretty helpful lately, and I haven't shitposted (except in the EoF) in quite a while. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone that I've talked to here lately or helped out with anything could write in a good word for me here, that'd be great, thanks!

It's just a website. Doesn't matter.

Basically, You don't discuss anything related to warnings in public, if you must, ask a moderator or the person who gave it to you, not post about it in public.

Second, like i said, ask a moderator, no one here but them can help you, we didn't do the warning system and while reporting is a thing, not all warnings is cause of a report, is cause of "Moderating" You know, who people job is to watch for any problems? So I mean that what I wanted to say. Many users here seem to not read the rules about this. It says not to openly discuss anything about staff moderating actions in public and I remember a post being closed for asking other users about their warning points. Clearly cause we can't see other users warings.

Just behave and it will go away, simple as that. If you feel need to appeal to a moderator, send them a pm or something. Read the rules for more details. https://gbatemp.net/help/terms

@Sonic Angel Knight That's my point. They've been there for quite a while now but haven't gone away. I haven't gotten any warnings for a long time now, and in the rules it says they'll be removed if staff notices good, well, behavior. It's pretty obvious that that'll never happen because helpful posts aren't generally noticed by staff, nor are they "reported", unlike posts that violate the rules.

Warning System Rundown:
  • Warnings do not automatically decrease. Staff have the ability to decrease warning levels if a member makes a positive impression that they are trying to improve themselves. Otherwise, the warning will be in place for 6 months to a year.

lmao is there a benefit to not having high warning levels or something?

They go away after a year or so. A mod removed mine around a year or so later, it might also depend on what you were warned for.

Yeah to be fair, I've had points that have lasted a while. And only AFTER I've spoken to a mod about something else, he was kind enough to see that I had a point there for like over a year and removed it.

The mods here are great, but you're really not going to get any points taken away unless you ask them directly.

Only the staff can decrease your warning points and don't even bother begging, tried that myself years ago.

I still have 2 warn points from p1ngp0ng from 4 years ago that still haven't been removed, never bothered me but eventually they'll remove it when they feel inclined to it.

Also, I asked this question on your thread and I'll ask it here as well: What is your Luma stealth version for? I'm interested.

@Pokem Well my old warning points seem to be WELL past their expiration date, especially since I haven't gotten any in a while. I just don't like seeing them there tbh. I take a look back at my old posts that got me those warning points, and I post NOTHING like that anymore.

@Yepi69 Basically to prevent anyone from being able to see if you're running CFW or not. Though, it's far from complete.
