Life is, how do I put this, worse with siblings. I have 2 younger ones with me being the eldest. They annoy the crap out of me, but, at times, they can be nice. But that is rare, so I will just complain.
So recently one of my younger siblings, lets call him Clarence (IDK I searched ugly baby names to find that) has gotten into Pokemon, and that is great, however, he wants shiny Pokemon (About a 1 in 4000 chance to appear). For the past 2 weeks or so, Clarence would take my 3DS to use to shiny hunt along with using his 3DS. I was fine with it when I wasn't using it, but when I wanted to use it, I had to pry it from his hands after a fight. Not fun. At this point, he has owned my 3DS for the past few days. I managed to get it while he was sleeping one night (Now he hides it) and he scratched up the touch screen a bit. There goes the resale value of my n3DS XL.
Its so annoying. I don't play PC/Console games too much because I don't have time for long gaming sessions anymore. Due to the portable nature of the 3DS, I can play games in short bursts, so it works. All I am left with is my GBA collection (Pokemon Emerald and Fire Red, and thats it) and a broken DS Lite (Top screen doesnt work, still plays DS and GBA).
I don't have $60 to drop on a refurbished 2DS for him (Or for me), I avoid piracy, games are expensive when you dont have a job (YET). I will probably get it back when he grows tired of shiny hunting (2-6 weeks), but untill then, I am SOL. I have more, crazier, stories with siblings (I have 2, crazy shit happens), but I dont know if I will share.
