Returned a Hacked 3ds to a used game store.

I am not sure where this would belong in the forum sections. Mods/Admin please move if it does not belong here I apologize if it doesn't.

So I bought a 3ds at my local game store they are small and pretty nice. I took it home and then hacked it with a9lh and luma. Put some games I owned on the SD card. I realized after I installed the games the buttons where sticky and just eww and the shoulder buttons too. So I was like fuck it I removed my sd card and put the sd card that came with it in and luma is still installed. They gave me a replacement 2ds with a game for free because it was nasty and sticky. I like the store and I feel kinda bad should I? I Just hacked the 2ds as well. Hopefully no one notices.

Well all in all I think nobody will notice >:D

Well I Hacked it and transferred games it was like 11 am by the time I was done I honestly didn't know untill I was half way through the downgrade but I thought it was just the L+R buttons at the time. It was the X button and then after I was fiddling with it all the other buttons started to go.
I decided just to return it.

To late for saltyFW Its already returned

Well IMO that's kind of a shitty thing to do. If the new buyer or the store itself isn't familiar they may think the DS is bricked when it's running an outdated firmware and shit isn't working right on updates or whatever. If you don't know about the CFW, you can't update it which could = blackscreen on boot. At least when I returned a 3DS I transferred my console ban to, I told them it was bricked so they returned it to the manufacturer. I'd rather screw Nintendo than some poor pleb.....

I got a free game with it to to pay up the difference and a charger so I mean I like the 2ds it worked.
I don't have the time or the money too fix it so I just did what I needed to do. I bought it mainly as a present to myself.
I don't have a lot of spare money after bills.

You didn't have the time to wipe it off but had the time to drive back to the store and haggle another unit?
